I am trying to establish my maternal grandfather. My Grandmother was Gladys McColl b. 1925 of Hilltown, Dundee and she worked in various jute mills in the area.

She had a daughter Moira in 1947 to a man (not, I understand, the Maurice Hopkins named as the father on the birth certificate).

Any information surrounding this unknown person would be most useful to my research.

Many Thanks

Mike

Have you tried Search Trees on this site?

If you find a possible match you could contact the tree owner to see if you have a connection.

Not sure how you will find someone that you have no record of his name...why do you believe Maurice not to be the correct person?
