Maybe its just me but I can't find births that tally what what you originally said and when the maiden name of Jones is added into the mix.....even less so

Thanks Liz and Gai for your advice. Would you believe their mothers name was Jones and she came from Wales.

I will keep on trying.

I would normally say try the white pages the australian telephone directory whitepages.com.au but with the name brown there are thousands of them in the directory.

I am looking for:-

Roger and David Brown born in Gloucestershire in 1934 and 1936.

Their father was Ralph Brown born about 1906 in Gloucestershire.

Roger and David both emigtated to Australia in the 1960s

Roger was a UK police officer in the Metropolitan Police and David worked for the Forestry Commission in the Forest of Dean.

I think Roger joined the Australian police, but i do not know which area of Australia they both lived in.

Any pointers gratefully received.
