Found Carol through another member of Genes who was related to her. We have met up and now in tough by e-mail. Thank everyone :-)

Perhaps she was adopted? She was born a while after the marriage and conceived during the war years, if you get where I'm going

You might want to obtain the birth cert.

If you have a last known address, you can do a street search on friends reunited, there may be a neighbour listed who would know some details.

The only other person who has her on her tree is a lady in Australia who is also a relative. I am in touch with her and it was her asking me if I know what had happened to Carol that started this search off

Have you tried a search on this site, friends reunited or facebook - do you know if Carol married? Have you looked to see if any other member has Lena Trotter in their tree - if so, perhaps they could help.

Lena Trotter was my mum's cousin she looks to have died in 1967 in Newcastle her husband dying just before. I cannot find any other births for that marriage either.

I am trying to find Carol A M Phillips b 1946 Newcastle upon Tyne daughter of Wm R Phillips and Lena Trotter b 1912 Newcastle upon Tyne or any other child of that marriage.
