Susan knew the date of birth as she had mentioned it in her post in the link that has been given above from 2006.

I imagine that the confusion regarding the birth is that Susan has accessed the record stating Jan - March 1931 but does not have the certificate giving the actual date. This implies late registry of the birth (post 6 weeks), but that happens.

I'm sorry Jax, if I a, getting a bit confused with how to reply to all threads, please dont think I am not grateful for all your help and others too. I am not sure regarding the death notice you sent. I know it is 8 years but please be a bit patient with me.

I confused because Susan sent me a pm but she has not opened the one I sent her saying I did'nt know what the pm was about.

So I feel she must have seen this to send me the second one

So why when I asked for the date of birth at the start of this thread did I get a pm saying "all I know is it is sometime between jan and march 1931"

Does'nt make sense at all

Found this old thread where Susan states her birth date is 15/11/1930 so it must be the one.

I noticed that death too earlier but as Susan had said in her OP that she had the birth cert I would have thought she knew her date of birth?

Think I found her death under Blount in 1981 but that has her born in November 1930.

In a very old thread you mention some family names were Haughton-Fielden.

Well, there's a Patience M Haughton-Fielden marrying a Blount in 1970. Seems too much of a coincidence.

Sorry susan I got your message and had no idea what it was about but as Brian replied to this thread...it then twigged :-D I am abit confused that you do not know exactly when she was born when you say you have her birth cert??

Just like to say Brian that marriage you sent may not be her as there was someone born in 1923 with the same name including the two middle initals

The only address I could see for that couple was 2002

I have been trying for years to find my husband's birth mother, have got her birth certificate, marriage certificate (not to his father) but have seemed to come to a brick wall, as she would now be 81 years, we have bth come to the conculson that she may have passed away. Could anyone please tell us how we could find this out even though we are not 100% sure.

married a Robert Cecil Clarke in 1958 at Walton-on-the-naze. Essex
My husband was born in April 1953 wilst she was living in Holland Park London.
