looking at 192, there is a possible match with a Maisie Hart living in westerham Kent with someone called Leonard Briddock. The electoral roll record is only up to 2004, but i can see no death record anywhere, and the house has not been sold according to Rightmove.

it seems that a Leonard Briddock was married in 1960 also in Bromley, so maybe thee is a happy story following the (possible) death of David Hart - her first husband. No sign of a recent marriage record though.

Is there any significance to the fact that the ER record is only up to 2004?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

People can opt out of the public ER....that's possibly what happened.

Or.......they died, or emigrated, or simply didn't register to vote

She was not necessarily 'living with' this man...............the ER records only the fact that they both registered to vote at the address

I hope you've checked the phone book.................

The lady who married Leonard Briddock in 1960 seems to have re-married

As these people may all be living, discretion is vital

Hi Flick,

Thanks for the advice, I do appreciate the need for discretion, i think this has probably gone as far as is possible on an open forum, so i will leave it alone at this point.

To be honest i am not even completely certain i have the right start point (it seems likely though), so i don't want to waste anyone's time.

Your, and others, input is very much appreciated - thanks.
