I am posting this on behalf of my friend, she is looking for her eldest son, His name is Colin Devanny or he sometimes goes by the name of Christopher Rixom, My friend is desperate to hear from him as she has been told some shocking news about him and if true time is of the greatest importance, so please if anyone knows of his whereabouts or is in touch with him please ask him to contact his mother.
Many thanks. Pat

Have you looked in search trees to see if he is in a GR tree?

Yes no luck, I have also tried 192, and the electoral roles for all of the country but no luck there either, he seems to have disappeared under the radar.

Many people don't register to vote...........of those who do, a high proportion choose not to be on the public version of the ER

And if this man sometimes uses an alias, it's likely that he hasn't registered.

Surely the person who conveyed the 'shocking news' has some insight into his whereabouts...............

Are you sure of the spelling of his surname.......or was he born outside of England or Wales?

Flick, My friend did ask and they said they thought he was in Cambridge, and Mary, yes his surname is spelt right and he was born in Coventry.

Sorry Patricia, I can't help you........there is no birth at all for a Colin Devanny anywhere in England or Wales never mind Coventry!

I was looking because I wanted to know how old he is, to narrow down the search.

I think I might see your friend's marriage (Coventry?) but if I am right the alternative surname would be Rixon mot Rixom.

If you hope to find this person, you need 100% accurate info

I looked earlier for a birth under the name Devanny, and like the other members found nothing.

The name is almost certainly Irish in origin.............I assumed that he had been born there

Please check with your friend the precise details of the registration of her son's birth............location, and name.

Kay????
