Hi Fairthorn
Thanks for that info That is the first record in which Una's second name was given, although I had guessed that it might be Mary Could be a clue to her mother's name
Had not realised Una had predeceased her husband Had made verbal enquiries at a previous address to be told she had gone This was prior to me starting a tree Did not realise that they meant "gone" gone Have since found her hubby's death record Still working on Christine
Thanks very much

Hi Flick Just read your post Have been on Friends Reunited to see if Christine on it on schools sites No luck
But another Christine Corps cropped up Sent her a message so time not wasted
Una did re marry She and Jack had divorced She married a chap callede Everitt but think he is now dead
Your earlier reply mentioned maiden name of Una's mother (Haynes) Had found this but unable to establish the marriage (one found in Northumberland) Una's father was called Joe according to a neighbour but its not unusual in N Yorks for a man to be called something other than his given name keen to find out more because it would mean I had Elliotts on both sides of the family (its a big clan) Do appreciate you trying on my behalf <3 Jimbob377

I deleted the mother's details, as she may well be alive

There is a possible marriage for Christine on Ancestry.......the cert would confirm whether it's the right person..................there's more than one with her second initial, so it's not straightforward.

I can't see a further marriage for her mother.........only the one to Corps, and the earlier one. Unless she married after 2005

Hi Flick
Yes have tried the usual sources Am grateful for you trying I know of her parents history (Her mother re-married) And that's why I am trying to locate Christine although she could well have married and be living under another name (A marriage record on Genes does not quite fit the profile) Will try marriages again Thanks for your interest
