im trying to trace my uncles mother, his name was joseph warr born 1893, father was joseph warr, who went on to marry matilda bullock, and raised a family in birmingham any info would be appreciated.

It might be necessary to trace Joseph senior in 1901, and I for one can't see him for certain. You might need his marriage cert to find out his father's name.
