I think i am going to have to question my husbands auntie who may know more info, I was trying to avoid it but might be the only way.

I live in the Middlesbrough area and have just checked the local telephone directory. There are 10 K Dixon's listed. It might be worth trying them.

..well there's four Kenneth Dixon's from Middlesbrough 1923 to 1930 & no Kenneth Dickson's so if he was from Middlesbrough, I think you can be fairly certain he was Dixon and not Dickson. If he is one of the four, how you'll go about finding which one he is would be very near impossible without additional information ~ name of a sibling or parents perhaps ~ but you will need something else without doubt.

Hi, looking for my husbands father Kenneth Dixon or Dickson. He is from the Middlesbrough area. Not sure about date of birth but think he was born in the late 1920s/ early 30s. He had a relationship with a Sylvia Fletcher in the 1950s.
Any info would be great, regards Sue.
