Find Living Relatives

Hi i have been trying to find michael connors he is a cousen of mine i have tryed befor on oconnor but have since found out from my mum that he is connors the last time we saw him was about 40 years ago he lived with his father also micheal in ryan street abbey hay Manchester his father died about that time .his mother had died befor his father so he was left on his own he was about 17 years to 19 years old and we know he married soon after and thats all the info we have any help would be appreciated

You could do with locating his birth to see if he has a middle name. This will narrow down your search quite a bit. Do you know his mother's maiden anme?

Flick, as far as I can see blondedays is saying he was born around 1950, give or take a few years.. There are 2 Michael J. O'connor's MMN Jackson born 1949 & 1950 in Prescot and Manchester respectively.
Problem is, we do not know where he was born!

I get the same result as Flick, no Michael Connors with mother Jackson

maybe if we could know about how old he was when he was last seen about 40 years ago ?

we can't tell whether that was around the time his parents died, or much later ...

can you tell us that, about when it was that his parents died ? and his mothers complete name too please

could the parents possibly be Michael CONNOR and Mary Jackson who married about 1950 but not in Lancashire ? that is the only similar sounding marriage ... but there is still no birth of a Michael to match

a Michael O'Connor did marry an Ellen Jackson in the mid-1940s in Manchester ...

an Ellen O'Connor born about 1924 died in Manchester in 1966 ... ?

and a Michael O'Connor died in 1969 in Manchester but he was born in 1902 ...

and a Michael O'Connor who mattches the one born in 1950 may have married in Manchester in 1969

Blondedays are you related to Michael on your mother's side and if so would the name not really be O'Connor ?

ah no I see ... it was Connors ... but since there is some confusion ... !

do you know the person who has your mother in their family tree at this site ? I just wonder whether that person might know something of Michael if it is not someone you already know

There is a GR member ( newish 12 million ) who has himself & the 1950 O'connor birth & Ellen Jackson 1924 birth.

sent to poster ..........also reminding her to unclick her family tree permission ( just in case ) when she contacts the GR member.

Chrissie, you might have gathered that I hadn't gone mad - looked for variants of Connors as there seemed to be some conflict of info in the original posting.
Fingers crossed Blondedays' mother was wrong!

I find it really strange that info about a cousin is so 'iffy'
