Hi trying to find any decendents of Francis George Martin who was the son of Charles Martin & Elizabeth Rose McElroy ? Francis George was born at 26 Frederick street Limerick on 2nd March 1894 in the 1901 census Francis George is believed to have lived with his family at Clare Ennis Urban 136 ?Turnpike Road he lived with Mum Elizabeth or Eliza & elder sister Mary J age 21 brothers Charles 11 Joseph 9 Beatrice 3 & his grandmother Mary Rose mother of Elizabeth .are there any decendents out there please, my Aunt is in her nineties & is desperate to find any living family, as a child she can remember an Auntie Lizzie & Brenden McElroy not sure about McElroy spelling Thankyou all Poodles

Please could you tell us what searches you have carried out in an effort to find any relatives as 1894 and 1901, the two dates mentioned, are a long time ago.

Have you looked on here to see if anyone has any of these people in their trees?
Have you put these people in your tree so that others can contact you?

Possibly change your heading so that Irish/Limerick people are aware of the search.

Thankyou everyone for your help I have found the 1901 census with the Martin family on it but after that I am totally stuck I have looked through
the lists of family tree names But I haven't found anyone researching the
the Martin or McElroy family from Limerick my Aunt hasn't got a computer at her home & as we live in different countries we communicate once a week by phone & I send a letter once a week, unfortunately my Aunt strays off the subject on the phone & we end up talking about something entirely the oposite, my Aunt calls computers typewritters with television screens on them & they really confuse her.Am I allowed to change the heading & ask my question again & could you suggest anything Thankyou Poodles
