Have you tried the search trees to find any connections?

the only birth I can see for Elliott/Goodwin in nottingham is for Barbara but there is also a Goodwin/Goodwin birth too

I'm trying to trace any relatives linked to my family:
Ethel Goodwin married a John (I think) Elliott around 1915 and had 4 daughters and 2 sons born between 1915 and 1923 - Irene, Nida, Donald, Patricia, Raymond and Barbara. Ethel was left to bring up her six children when Barbara, the youngest, was 4. They lived in Nottingham.
I believe John was a successful valuer and surveyor in his time, but Ethel was left with little money.
The 4 daughters stayed close through adulthood, but lost touch with the two brothers.
Can anyone help or shed light on this?
