Trying to find details of cousin Brian C. Houghton (born 1931) decendant of Phoebe and Charles Houghton (cabinet maker) Hacckney area. Any other family.

There is someone who could have him in their tree have you tried to make contact?

If you have not contacted him yet as he seems to have two trees...send the message to the one that says born London as it is a newish membership number

Have you checked your sent messages to see if the emails you sent have been opened - if they have, the envelopes will be white. If they have not been opened they will be mauve, it could be that the person has changed their email address without letting GR know.
Have you tried friends reunited, facebook or the electoral rolls.

Thank you for reply Liz, Yes have checked sent e-mails and they have not been opened. Have tried F.R. etc. no luck there. Will keep trying

I thought you said yesterday by pm that you had not sent a message to the peter with the newer membership number? Think you need to give it a bit of time.
