My father had a half brother James Owen Barnett born in Long Eaton in 1884 he married in 1904 and died in 1955 Iwondered if he had any children?

Have you tried a search on this site to see if anyone else is looking for the family, have you looked on free bmd for any births, after 1911 you can search using the mother's maiden name,

I can see no grandchildren BUT with the war years they could have been born elsewhere ( ie other than Derbyshire )

Unless you purchase Frederick R TURNER's death certificate to see who registered.

There is a GR member who has a Frederick Turner 1911 Derbyshire on their tree but may not be the same gentleman.

Thank you very much for all your information my fathers side of the family is so complicated this has helped a lot. My grand father George Barnett died when my father was only 5 so all this is news to us it appears he was married 4 times and there were a lot of half brothers and sisters extra ones appear everytime I look lol you are obviously a lot more expperienced than me.
