adopted david edge

hi my uncle was given up for adoption and his name before adoption was david edge. he was a baby when he was adopted, i would love to get intouch with him if any one knows him.

If David wishes to be found he might have registered on the national adoption register, so it might be worth investigating that. I would also try 'search trees' above, and Friends Reunited just in case he is on there.
I am assuming this was definitely a formal adoption?

yes it was a formal adoption, how do you find out if they are on the national adoption reg?

You have to register also. I have a feeling this incurs a significant fee, but I could be wrong.

Or just google 'national adoption register contacting relatives' and it will pop up. Easy to spot as it's a government site.

What about contacting NORCAP for advice first? They deal with adoption issues for both adoptees and relatives.
