	Hi Betty welcome to the boards this is an old thread and carole did not return to this thread from google Brandis Corner is a village in Devon, England. Brandis comes from the Saxon name to 'burn'. This village has burnt to the ground many times.

	Carole, Are you looking for living relatives, or just any information at all? When did the Lewis family live at Brandis Corner, and have you any names for them? Have you looked to see if anyone has common ancestors in their trees on here? In the 1911 census there are 4 households with an address of Brandis Corner, none of them are the Lewis family. A google search gives you the Brandis Corner Wildlife Group with a Lewis as secretary.
