Unfortunately I do not think he shows in free bmd for births, either in 1884 or 1877.

He's on the 1901 Canadian census in Victoria, British Columbia. Was born 2 Aug. 1877, England, emigrated 1891.

I would like to contact descendants of Christopher Harold Ridgeway born in England 1884 died 1966. He had 2 sons William Alfred 1904 and Christopher Harold 1906-1986. He married Mary Adelaide Wood 1901 in Victoria British Columbia.
He is the brother of my grandfather. They were separated when his mother and my grandfather came to Australia in 1888.
