Looking for information on a son of Samuel Stephens ( Caniston, Lancashire, England) & Jane Warwick (Greystoke, Cumberland, England)

The son's name is William. I would like to know when he left England to come to Australia? And his proper birthdate.

I have his birthplace as Thwaites, Cumberland, England.

I live in Australia and not familiar with the names of places.
