	Have you tried a search on this site, friends reunited, facebook or the electoral rolls on 192.com. On friends reunited you can do a street search, so you could enter his last known address, and see if any neighbour is listed who may know more. Good luck, Liz

	Have you thought of contacting the Salvation Army? It may reassure you to know that there is no death recorded for him up to 2005 Do you know whether he married?
