Hi everyone,
I am still trying to trace my husbands brother, Edward John Kingstone b1951 Witney, Oxfordshire, who was fostered out to an elderly couple c1953, the birth parents were Leonard George Kingstone and Christine Elizabeth Jane Oliver.
He was known as John and we believe that the couples surname was Newbury. I can't seem to find any marriage or death certificate for him, of course he may have been adopted and changed his name to something else.
I am in contact with WDDC which have the records for my husband and his brother but they cannot give me any details about John, although we have accessed my husbands. We have also contacted BAAF and they are going to see what they can do to help. If anyone has heard of him or perhaps knows him please get in touch. He was last known to be living in the Dorchester area of Dorset, but can't find any trace of him.
Thanks Pauline

Have you looked in search trees?

Does 'still' mean that you have another posting about this?

EDIT:

It certainly DOES!

ONE posting per topic is the GR rule...........and if there was no positive outcome as recently as May, what makes you think that posting yet again will achieve anything more?

Hello Flick,
I am sorry for reposting, I didn't realise that I couldn't repost, I have now deleted previous postings. I am not really used to the message boards. I do apologise.
At least I know now. :-)

regards Pauline

Oh Pauline

Hope it doesnt put you off searching for your family when people are so rude, just a polite word to notify you of the rules would suffice.

Good luck with your search
