Apart from the death details Fairthorn has posted...........there does not seem to be any further info regarding Charles.
There is no marriage entry for him.

Thank you so much for your help,Susan,I can now fill in missing pieces of puzzles.My husband,s father, who was ALSO a Charles was a very spoilt upperclass young man, that ran away from home, at the age of 15 yrs and jumped ship in Australia.(because he dis not get his own way)He assumed anothr name and bummed around Aus ,married my motherin law,and also only had 1 child.His poor father, Paul Friebe had Pinkertons chasing him ,begging him to come home ,and bring young Charlie(my husband)home to see his grandparents ,as it was breaking their hearts. He would not.and refused to talk about his parents. So with my husband it was a game of hide and seek all of the time,but he did put my husband through a top School (Newington Colledge) so there you see a short story for a quick read.Fortunately my fatherinlaws nastiness did not come out in my husband or children and they are very well adjusted.so money is not eveything nor does it buy happiness,eh!!!Jan. :-)
