Try dearching notice boards in Ohio USA There may be people searching same name as you are! People are very helpful for researchers just staring or unfamiliar with their census ,local research etc: Please thank them for their help and maybe help them if they are researching this side of the"pond"

im having trouble finding this person to be honest i dont have a lot of info and could do with the birth cert so i have details correct, but to be honest i dont know were to start lol

A lot of people from the USA (like me) are on GR, but if you want to you could try http://www.whitepages.com it's the residential listing for the whole country, it'll at least help you narrow your search to certain areas.
