Josephine has paid no attention to the fact that her subject line says 1931-1937 and should say 1931-1997

it is hard to tell what else she is taking on board

( the Beverley Wooding in Australia I linked to is the one who wrote the letter back ? Eileen gave you another possibility from your other thread too ? )

"father of Debbie Poppy of Shane, Daniel, Jessica"

yes obviously:
father of Debbie
'Poppy' of Shane, Daniel, Jessica

_not_

'children poppy jescia and daniel'

and thus no idea from that what the surname of the daughter and her children are, possibly Wooding, possibly not

Perchino,

He was in Southport, Queensland when he was buried.

The death for Beverley was in the Gold Coast Bulletin so same area.

Was Charles still in Sydney (New South Wales state) when you last had contact? Australia is a very large country and it would narrow the search if you have any clues for the area.

Beverley Grace Wooding death above is Gold Coast

chrissiex Report 14 Jul 2011 21:51

so the info at the link I just gave has presumably already been provided

I guess it just looked like a good idea to ask someone to do that all, all over again

rather than provide complete information in a way that could be understood

or just stick to the existing thread as the rules say to do, for very good reason

I wonder whether you acknoweldged and followed up on the information you were given months ago Josephine ?

the telephone directory is always a useful place to start

http://www.whitepages.com.au/resSearch.do?subscriberName=wooding&givenName=b&location=

you should find a name of interest on the first page of results there

Charles emigrtated to Australia and lost all contact with his english family and never returned home. He married twice and a few months before his death in 1997 he got in touch. I am looking to track down his wife Bev and his children Poppy, Jesica and Daniel. I have no dates full names or addresses and as its australia thought someone might be able to point me in the right direction

Someone has a Charles Wooding born in 1931 in Holbeach, Lincolnshire, in their tree

that Charles was Charles H Wooding, as shown in the English births index

is this your Charles ? I do not want to put the birth details here as the person may still be living but his father had the same name and the parents were married in the same place ... the parents had 12 children in total ! of whom he was the oldest ... that information can be sent to you privately if this is the right person.

... I see I am guessing right because you have at least one of those children in your tree here at genes reunited ...

are you in touch with the five other people who have that child ( Ivy ) in their trees for example ?

If you can explain how he comes to have relatives in Australia this could help, since he and his siblings all seem to have been born in England.

hello Josephine, would you proofread your subject line ?

it looks as if he was born 1931 and died 1937

but then he would not have descendants :-)

his children are his descendants ........... are you looking for his brothers and sisters ?

was he born in 1931 ? where in Australia ?

Birth records in Australia are not generally available for that period.

have you searched family trees here for anyone who may have family members named Wooding born around the right time and place ?

just click on 'search trees' in the row of buttons up above.
