Hi Looking for lost relatives from Glasgow this happened due to a marriage failing in late 50s..George Watson dob 21/7/34, Sister Mary Watson born 1949 and parents Archibald and Helen Watson. Not sure how to trace people from Scotland so any advice welcome.. Thank you :-)

You could start in the usual way, by looking on here in 'search trees'

Unfortunately, Scottish bmd info is not as readily available as that for England/Wales, and there are much more stringent rules about cut-off years. Check Scotlands people website for the facts.............

Just to add to what Flick said, Scotlands People is an excellent web site and has been invaluable to me as both myparents were from Scotand, Good Luck !

Thank you. I have reg with Scottish People. The only problem I have found is when searching the births no image is available so the only way to check is to order certs which will be costly as Watson a very common name :-0
