Valerie if you look at the main board list you can see how many 'views' there are for each message here

only a handful of people look at every message posted

so you can see that the chance of one of these Richardsons ever seeing your message is ....................... zero ?

even with google, none of them is very likely going to search for 'richardson hop picking' and find your message for example :-)

if you do have names and ages it could help other members look for information for you as Flick says

and then you can also search family trees at this site to see whether any of those people are in another member's tree ( the 'search trees' button up above )

If you don't know their names and approx birth years, I don't see how anyone can help.
