I'm trying to find a girl cousin born to my mother's sister, Kathleen Horton, in around 1962, probably in Bicester or at least the Oxfordshire area. Kathleen would have been 18 or 19 at the time. The baby was given up for adoption. I have no other information so am aware that this is a long shot. |

If a child was adopted from birth it is almost certain that both names will have been changed. Ring Social Services and ask for the Post Adoption Team. They may suggest you employ an Adoption Intermediary, but if you do this, check their charges before committing yourself. Is your aunt able to tell you the name of the child when the birth was registered, the only girl appears to be Deborah J. b l96l. |
