I believe it is MaxiMary's birthday on Friday, also Colleen's. Have a nice birthday both of you.
It is already Friday here, one of the advantages of being at the ends of the earth. Also will be s****ing h*t today. And it's not even summer yet.

xx Colin

edit thanks Jeni who posted the alert.

Thank you Colin, we hope to have a good day. To lighten your day here's what happened at 3:30 this morning. Woke up at 3:30 to find sarah had been busy in the kitchen.
here's a list of her concoction: 6 eggs, butter, cooked potatoes which were for tomorrow nights supper as salad, sea salt, cherry juice, coffee grounds, Splenda, dried blueberries, broken choc mint cookies, cream of rice cereal, a whole bottle of maple syrup, rolled oats and the essential Ranch dressing, what a mess, and what a waste. To top it off she was naked with all the lightson and no curtain on the window. I had to laugh, otherwise I would have been angry or cry.
It took 2 hours to clean up the mess. She had another seizure yesterday at school, second this week, scary time. This one was less severe than Monday's. The entire day is turned upside down.
gareth's speech seems to be increasing, he is asking questions, incomplete grammar, but I don't care, if he is understood.

Colin a friend here is heartbroken because her daughter and her family have emigrated to new zeland, never been there before, no temporary work permit, just went. My friend used to look after the children regularly, there's a big hole there now. It makes me think about the people who emigrated to 'the ends of the e arth' before we had phone and computers.
In my family tree there are several who left and comment made 'never heard from again'. How sad for a family to be in that position.
it's cold and damp here now, the sky looks like "the 'S' word" and seems cold enough. According to the farmers almanac we are having heavier snow this winter starting late November. i don't have a pair of boots, threw mine out last spring to motivate myelf to buy new ones. Another procrastination issue. oe of these days my feet will be cold and wet.
have a good friday everyone, enjoy my (and Colleen's) birthday for me, I don't have time LOL.

Claddagh Report 20 Nov 2009 10:52

The sun is shining here, it is very mild too, just like yesterday, but, I am feeling extremely sad, maybe depressed is a better word. This has been going on for quite a long time now.The anti depressants don't seem to be helping.....
I hardly dared to come on here and type this, after reading about all the really bad things that some of you are going through. To be honest, I sometimes frighten myself with the black thoughts running through my head.
This week, I watched an episode of Coalhouse, not very enthousiastic, but, then a tune called The Sun Has Got It's Hat On, which made the tears roll.My aunt who died in 2006 told me that my mother used to sing this many moons ago.I can't picture her ever singing...aunt always sang around the house. Then there was a thread asking members about their first memories of Christmas .This really set me off.It may sound very strange, but I felt sorry for the child back then,as if it is someone else who experienced the lonely Christmas's, who didn't have nice memories, not me.
Fighting these private demons is soooo exhausting. This is something a lot of you recognise probably, so understand.

Enough of this.

Gail & Mary, thank you for your good wishes for my birthday, and Mary, happy birthday to both you and Colleen for today.

David, it is brave of you to actually say you are depressed. In my experience, men seem to have a problem with admitting this.

I can also relate to having wierd dreams about lost loved ones, and doing things in my sleep......

Take care all of you.

Sharron Report 20 Nov 2009 13:39

One of the things my hypnotherapist did was to set up a situation where the present Sharron gives the love and comfort to the little Sharron that she should have had at the time.

It does seem to do some good.

We have had bushfires around today, we are safe, just very thick smoke around. Just on dark we could see the flames about 5 klms away. The new fire started to the west of us, there has been one about 20 klm away to the east for the last few days.

WE ARE SAFE. So do not worry. We are watching and waiting and listening to the Radio for updates.

Barbra I'm sorry for you. Have you PMed other people on that thread to ask if they have received a message from this person about you? Or asked openly on the thread, without using her name? I'd bet she hasn't a clue what the others think of you. If anything they have most likely worked out for themselves who is the baddie! Try returning to where you had made friends. Good luck xx

Mary, bless Sarah she was making a cake for you and Coleen to share and there had to be enough to go round! Really it must have been a sight to see. What a mess all that sticky syrup!

Gail sounds awful hope there isn't a repeat of last years fires near you. Do you have a fire proof box to keep important papers, photos, research! Hope you stay safe this summer xx

Eileen it's brave of you to post your fears. I know you find it difficult. What dose of anti depressants are you taking? Perhaps you need to try a stronger dose or even a new tablet type.

Sharron your post is interesting. I think I am getting there now. I never liked me, and thought no one else did. This thread has helped me in that way. I feel much better about myself. Being told over and over I am okay has got me this far. And thank you to my friends here xxx

Had a lovely day yesterday, it was Steves day off so we went to The White Rose centre Leeds. ( I drove there) Did some shopping for Xmas. Disney shop got cleared out! No not really but we did get some nice things in there. Stopped at Glasshoughton on the way home and picked up some bedding for mum.

Barbra Of course this is the place you should be, you will get support on here, we don't judge anybody. But don't let a cyber bully spoil your enjoyment, ignore her, I am sure nobody else is laughing at you. To be honest if it were me I would put up a post asking if anyone was laughing at me. However not everyone could cope with that so be more subtle, go on posting and ignore that person completely.

I have sent you a PM. Don't like to see anyone upset on here and there is too much of it goes on, mainly on chat.

Benjamin Report 21 Nov 2009 16:28

I just received the birth cert of Elizabeth Musgrave 23rd April 1852 in Auckland, Durham and her wedding cert. Yes she couldn't write so that all proves I have her father Thomas, my ancestor with her in the 1900 US census.

They lived at North Fayette Township, Allegheny. I have put a request on some US lookups but the lookup offer said they dont have any deaths 1900-1910 in PA.

Thomas Musgrave is not on the 1910 US census so I think he died inbetween 1900 and 1910 so it narrows it down.

Barbara I'm glad you came to us on our thread no one ever judges, and I would be lost without you anyway, remember the bits of advice you gave me? Please don't leave on account of someone out to cause trouble, they are not worth bothering about.

Hope everyone is ok, I might not be on a lot for the moment, too much going on in my head, but I think of you every day.
