Thank you all for your concern. I`ve managed to develop some kind of a bug, weak, sleeping constantly (I have truly taken a day off today)lots of aches, tummy unsettled etc etc.Of course we are all paranoid about the H1N1 being around, there are 12 confirmed cases at Colleen`s Uni, both Mary and E, have been coughing. We put the clocks back an hour tonight so an extra hours sleep. |

Mary, have you thought that it is a therapy for him, if he is going through a bad time with chemo etc, maybe he wants something in his life to cheer him up. |

Hazel, hugs for Caitlin. Once upon a time I had my tonsils and adenoids out. Came home with chicken pox. That was also when they discovered "my" heart defects. One fixed, one still present. Still going strong 54 years later. |

Hi all, struggling at the mo with o.h. starting to take his diabetes tablets and having to think twice about what to eat, so I am having to try and get him into a better routine with eating, he is awful about missing meals. He got stuck at work after doing 12 hrs as someone on holiday and the other chap forgot he was doing overtime too so didn't turn up to relieve him, he left here at 5.30am yesterday and got home at 7.40pm! He has to be at work again at 6am today but only for the usual 8 hrs. |

Well Rem seems a little brighter today. Still poorly though. He is in bed a lot of the time, has been down a short time and laid on the setti. |

I used to suffer terrible depression after my son died aaged 17. I tried drugs from the Doc, but didn't like the sound of the side effects, so I got myself off them. I tried counselling, but that got me nowhere. Then I came across a hypnotherapist. After an in depth interview she said she could help and predicted that 10 sesssions with her and I would be a lot better. I certainly was. She brought out things that bothered me which I had hidden away for years. I am now much changed. I have my down times still, but using the strategies she taught me I can dump the blues. |
