Eileen, I have no idea how that has happened. Not only is the name wrong but it is not your number either. I think, if it doesn't right itself you need to contact GR and ask. I assume you are using your own PC.

I saw you had put something about the clocks going forward, which confused me Eileen!!
I always remember spring forward, fall back. Or you do the operset to what you do with your clothes, spring is getting warmer so you take off clothes (put on the time) autumn is getting colder , you put on clothes( take off time).
Yes Dad has to pay all that for his care.
Back to work in the morning. I'm so tired, slept in today, it ws lovely!
Hope you all had a good week end xx

Deanna, my son was like that, I didn't get a whole night's sleep til he was about two and a half and it wasn't as if he wasn't active, walking at ten months and always out in the fresh air! He nearly went out the window many a night, lol, and I was on my own with him so no one to take over or help out. No wonder I am frazzled and have a strange sleep pattern these days, my body is still trying to sort itself out and son is 27!!!!!!!
A lovely week of afternoons and evenings to myself, so will be catching up with phone calls, and doing what I want and eating what I want too, wonderful!!!

My daughter too used to wake up every night at least once, probably twice until she was 3. Doctor said it was because she was bright and had an active brain.

Hi Ann, Liz, & Claire... that is what the doctor told me too. she is a bright child!!! WHO CARES HOW BRIGHT SHE IS????? ALL I WANT IS SLEEP!!! doctors say ANYTHING to get you out of the surgery, when they just don't know the answer!! ;-0(
I have not been on for long. Had to take time out as I exhausted myself clearing the kitchen. I realised how tired I was when I forgot things on the Computer. FRIGHTENING that as that was the way my mind was when I had the stroke. I sat in front of the computer and forgot how to switch it on!!! Scarryyyyyyyyy.
Anyway. We had a visit from the council to tell us that they will be starting our bungalow next month... 15th November.
How are you all doing? I am still working away, but at my own pace.... which is slow to motionless!
See you all later, Love Deanna XXXX

Deanna, at least you now know when to expect the upheaval. You did the right thing I am sure when you had overdone it. Does you good to take a few days off.
Anybody heard from Joyce (not Dutch) in a while? I am wondering how she is getting on, miss her on here.

Hi Ann... Joyce left a message on my Christmas card thread. she had been in England at her daughters/granddaughters which was why she sent the cards out so early. So she must be okay mustn't she?
We have just had the man round to measure the bathroom and kitchen for the men coming in a couple of weeks time.
We are having new floors, the walls will be scraped down to the plaster, and it will all be left decorated!! I have been so worried about how we would get the place decorated when they were finished. My Allan was such a handy man and there was very little he could not do.... but now he is too sick and we have been in such a state over it! Now we are quite easy about the mess etc because it will be all cleared up and left......... looking beautiful.
we have always been so good with our hands and there was not anything we needed to ask anyone to do, then came old age and infirmity.
See you all later.... got to go and watch *Dr Quinn Medicine woman!!* and have our coffee.
see you all later, Deanna XXXX

Hi from a sunny, mild Holland,
Must enjoy the short Indian Summer while it lasts.
Sorry for the mix up about my name/number.Can't understand how it could happen.Thank you Clair and Ann for trying to explain....GR sent me a message monday morning appologising etc.Isn't it very strange that I had my old schoolfriend's name and number? The only explanation we can think of is, she always pays my sub.every 6 months, I send her euros for this, which she can use when going to Ireland or France. We have done this for some years, so why did it go beserk only recently?Ah well, it's sorted. Am glad I could remind you about putting the clocks BACK (I said forward in one post) Liz...
Another g.son, the one who was operated on hs appendix in january, was fooling around with a friend, they were doing tricks on their scooters, (he normally drives a car.)silly nits that they are, when he fell quite badly, of course on his head. One eye is still swollen up like a duck's egg, he can't open it at all...doesn't have pain though.I bet he won't learn anything from this....
Floris has been back to hospital on monday, has a different plaster caste now, a shorter one...the pain seems to have gone and he is learning to move around without putting his bad leg on the ground, getting a bit cheeky too, which is always a sign they're getting better. Now my dauhgter needs to stop feeling guilt, which is easier said than done.
Have a great, peaceful weekend everyone.
Eileen x

hello. I apologise for being AWOL, been VERY shaky , physically and mentally the past 2 weeks. No point in listing all the triggers, some physical and some related to Gareth and Sarah - seizures(S), rages (G), neurology appts,EEG, coughs, infection, fear of H1N1, etc etc. Then my house has taken over, I'm no longer in control, the place is a shambles which also makes me agitated.
Went to a funeral a week ago for an old friend of my parents who died at 102 yrs,she & her husb and sons emigrated a few months after we did, so I've known the family (and a couple of other Welsh familes) most of my life. Oh dear, what am I to do, one of the sons of another family was also at the funeral with his sisters, he is a bit older than me,the girls and I have remained quite close over the years, so anyway he offered to help with my fundraiser and now he's calling almost every night . . . I feel like I'm between a rock and a hard place - he's willing and able to help but seems to be interested in me too, and I haven't the emotional strength to deal with it. I need the help, but am not interested in relationship. My anxiety levels have shot up, been on my own now for 15 years and quite comfortable in my own little world thank you. probably silly, but with everything else piling on, I feel vulnerable. Somebody kick me in the back-side and tell me to ignore it all.
Sorry to come on and moan, been reading but just too down to write. You've all been so good to me, I feel like Im letting the side down. have a good day, all. group hug,I need one (of my choice LOL) Mary

Mary *receive a virtual kick up the backside*
Take all the help he gives with the fundraising, smile sweetly, be pleasant to him, make sure if you meet him you always have a chaperone and if he declares his interest tell him you are flattered, would like to stay friends but, with the children, have no time or inclination for relationships.
And be flattered girl!!!!
Sorry you have been under the weather and hopr that things are improving daily. You have no way let us down, never think that for a moment.
Eileen, glad to hear that Floris is improving, hope it continues. also hope other Grandson has learned a lesson but I wont hold my breath!!!

Mary,it may just be a manifestation of how concerned he is for you.
I'm concerned for you and I don't even know you.
Let him help you,we all need to feel we can help somebody.
If he was a woman would you still feel worried?

Mary one of the hardest things to ask for is help. This man is giving it to you. Accept it gracefully but let him know you are not interested in a relationship. Then again is he handsome? You have in no way let us down. We all have the upmost admiration for you. Try to take some time out for yourself before you burn out. Without you Coleen would be stuck. xx
Eileen hope there isn't a third!! xx
Love to you all

Yes Liz... we are indeed two of a kind. A bit thick, but a bit warm and loving! tee hee Well if we don't love ourselves who will???
I was pretty unwell when I got up this morning was having a wash in the bathroom and felt really bad. Trying to ignore it only made it worse. I managed to finish, get dressed, brush my hair and get to my chair where I could have a drink of water. A bit frightening, and I don't get afraid when I get ill. Took me a while to calm myself!
Ah well... just another new experience to add to my repertoire of illnesses.
Sorry I did not phone Liz, but I have been so busy with one thing and another. I will be so glad when the work on the house is finished, and it has not even started yet!
Lovely to see you around again Eileen. Miss you when you are not here. Hope everyone is okay, and those who are having problems, Bless you all and I hope things improve for you.
Well all, I am off to watch a bit of TV now. I don't want to get too tired again, it never pays. AND... I never learn, well.... do you??? No, I didn't think so. Have a nice clam and easy weekend all of you.
Love to all, and hugs for all who need them. good night Mary, Liz, Eileen, Hazel, Claire, Ann, Sharron, Carole, Carole Y, Joyce, And everyone who needs a hug..... especially you Mary, bless you... a HUGE HUG FOR YOU....... (((((((((((((((((((HUGS FOR ALL)))))))))))))))))
