Kerry Report 13 Mar 2008 16:17

My daughter said her thoughts were with the driver also...She just called and said they had some older students waiting to pick her up and took her straight to lunch before a lecture so that was nice of them..Fingers crossed she made a good impression..

she must be feeling dreadful - I wouldn't be surprised if counselling isn't offered to bystanders - if it isn't, it damn well should be.

Scooby's Report 13 Mar 2008 17:28

Just popped in for a few minutes. Any trauma that is seen by the public is stressful but it must be a train drivers worst nightmare. It is true though that anyone who is suicidal doesn't really have the ability to think straight. I know that I have felt very scared standing on a station because sometimes I have thought how peaceful and quick it would be to jump.
Let's not go any further with that except to say that I do hope Kerry's daughter is ok and the engine driver is well looked after.

O.M.G. Kerry.... that poor girl.
No one should involve anyone else in their death that way.
I must sound like a real Hardin , but look at the state of your girl. And god knows what that driver is like!!

lets hope she was able to hold herself together for the interview.
Bless her.

Joyce..... will you stop phoning Caz when she is PMing me please?
kidding love, just laughing here. x

Caz, get back to the pooter and start typing.... ;-0)

Ann, have you noticed how ALL the best babies are born in 1940???
Well, there's thee and me... and there must be some more somewhere with the same wonderful characteristics as we have.... ;-0)
My friend Mary, who has had a breast removed and a lump too.... came today and I asked her about the stitches.
She said that she too suffered more from the drain than the stitches.
If she gets a cold today.... she will be sore around that area.
Her op was 6 years ago. So I thought you would feel better to know that.

Well folks , nearly tea time so I'm off again and I will see you in the morning.
Bye for now,
Love Deanna XX

Deanna,

I don't believe we have ever spoken but nice to see you on our thread...

I am sorry but I think you have some explaining to do because on your earlier posting you asked me to stop phoning Caz when she was PMing you.. when indeed Joyce was PMing me as I was phoning Joyce???????????????????

As for Caz, she should have been reading through her script for our new production of ' Clowning around' which I sent her.... not phoning, PMing or watching sheep behind my back....only the sheep were not really behind my back................

Am now going to bring a couple more animals into this posting, like...

I have put the cat among the pigeons with this bizzare posting but decided to have a little fun and confuse you, as I have confused myself.

Yes I am zany at times Deanne, as Caz will bear me out.

Joyce I hope you did not mind my taking your name in vain, from one Joyce to another.

Promise it is not the pills or water affecting my brain, probably a little boredom from researching, eh Cazx...

Hope I am forgiven LOL's

Hi all...

Thanks for all your kind words for my daughter, She is fine now she's home...The uni were great and understood and she loved Cambridge (or was it the college boys) lol...She said she had a good end to a bad day as she went shopping before coming home and enjoyed Cambridge...
We've had a good chat about what happened today but i think shes too young to understand how someone can take their own life and thats a deep conversation we will save for another day..Once again thank you all...

Joyce P.... sorry, sorry, sorry... don't beat me, get a hold of that Caz and Dutch Joyce and beat them instead..... I'm a sick woman!! ;-0(

ANN...... my friend Mary was here today ( as I told you) and I forgot to tell you. She said.... MANUKA HONEY.....
Put it on wounds, or eat it, it is lovely Allan used to buy it for me when I was recuperating... quite expensive, but as it never goes off, and you don't eat loads of honey at a time.... it is worth every penny.
If you decide to try it let me know and I can tell Mary if it worked as well for you , as it did for her.x

Elaine love, I just wish I could give you a hug... sometimes that is the only cure.
Have a good night sleep and tomorrow will be better.... sound like Scarlett O'Hara don't I... what an Idiot I am sometimes.... but I meant it with a good and caring heart. x

Kerry glad to hear that she carried on and had a good day.
Yes, time for a talk later. x

To everyone, Good night I will be back in the morning...

Julie, of course you are not intruding. I am on amlodopine. Not sure if it is the same as the one you take, I know there are three different types of BP pills

Mine is a calcium channel blocker, just looked yours up it is an ace inhibitor. They work in different ways. But I rarely take over the counter drugs although have bought benelyn in the last 7 years and not been asked about prescribed drugs I must admit.

thanks anyway, i will get some paracetamol tomorrow. The hospital gave me co-codamol but I don't want to take those, it does warn that they can interfere with bP medication and the hospital knew I was on BP med too.

elain, will keep thinking of you. I am sure that saturday will be hard but try and think about your lovely Aunt as you knew her when you are at the funeral, picture her in a better place, did she like gardening? Maybe a beautiful garden then and know that she is watching over you and will know how much you miss her. Hopefully as she holds your hand you wont have an anxiety attack.
