Oh Irene, naughty cat been through the long grass, try and check her ears and paws and make sure no seeds caught in them which can cause problems.

Y. Caz, a very happy birthday hon, I am sure there is another thread up so will add to that too in a mo!

Deanna, yes my partner! He is still saying he doesn't want me in there! Will see nearer the time, at the mo I have another more pressing worry, roof tiles askew, about 25 of them on my house across the city, really worried the water will leak through the roof felt altho should be in good condition still, so may have to go round and climb up the loft ladder and check it out inside as I have lots of stuff stored up there - will take a plastic sheet to put over but hope I am not too late. I saw it when I had my doctor's apptmt Mon pm but was too late to do anything as 5pm.
Feeling sick with worry so sorry can't add much more tonight, who shouted hooray lol?
Hope everyone is ok and not had problems with the weather.

Thank you every one who sent birthday wishes, Joyce what ya like, I always find this thread before I look at any others so will look later Liz.
Nice to see you are well Carolina, and yes where is Jules,I have been wondering myself.
Ann I never get a good night, I was falling asleep over my tea, I am so tired with this damn pain, up at 3-30 again this morning, I will be glad when I see rhumatologist see if he can help. Will be thinking of you this morning but there is nothing to worry about, you will feel lovely and free after they come out. Come on and let us know how you went on.
Liz so sorry for you with your house, it's bad enough when you are there, you must be so worried about it not knowing what is happening to it. We haven't had the gales yet but it is getting up this morning, and we have heavy rain now.
Mary I don't know how you fit everything in, is your day longer than ours? lol. Take care in the snow and no more speeding, you hear?
Irene where were you born in Yorkshire, I couldn't imagine living anywhere else, it's so beautiful when you get out of the towns and cities.
Hi to anybody I've missed, memory is going a bit me thinks.

Thanks Gill, are you feeling a little better today?
I am, I'm going to sort my books out, I have to get rid of a lot and I have found the Voluntary Group at our local hospital will take them. They sell them and the proceeds go to buying new wheelchairs for the hospital. The sun is shining here and it's slightly breezy but no gales yet, I think it helps when the sun is out. Hope you have a good day.

Hi gang - nice to see you all here - I am back in spirit only!! Had an amazing time on London Saturday and Sunday - Harrods, Covent Garden and Oxford Street. Very tiring all those escalators and corridors in the underground - must have walked miles. Anyone going up to London I can highly recommend the Crowne Plaza hotel - one of those on the outskirts of Heathrow. Hoppa bus into Heathrow where all the tubes run from - £7 for an all day ticket on the underground - wear comfy shoes by the way. It's only £39 per night in the hotel which is excellent and it is a brilliant hotel with leisure complex - take your swimming gear - and a golf course!! It will take me all week to recover I think but it was well worth it. Margaret, you hit the nail on the head about mental health services in the NHS - the bottom of the pile every time! I worked in a psychiatric hospital for 28 years and I know all too well how they are the poor relations. Still haven't put my stuff away so will have to make an effort today!! Love to all, Ann XXX

Okay Caz.... just 'cos it's your birthday I'll allow you to laugh at me. lol
BUT you should know that I had no time to read through all the thread....
I was being a good girl yesterday and went to the clinic. ;-P)

Oh Liz, it never rains but it POURS....as my mum used to say.
Are you insured or is that gonna be another HUGE BILL for you?
Such a dreadful day wasn't it?
So how are you physically then?
And OH... the stubborn one? ;-0)

Carole, how do you manage to hold all our names in your head at once?
Do you write them done or what?

I'm at the stage in life where I go to add a message to each of you and I have forgotten who you are by the time I get there.... such an idiot I am!

I will try again to send out my feelings to all those I would love to help, which is all of you.
Here goes.
Dave, Liz, Ann, Caz, Carole, Joyce (not heard from you for some time love), Joyce P,Malc, Romany, Elaine, Gwen, HOW AM I DOING?
Colleen, Kerry, Skwirell that's it my brain is ruined for the day..... and I have run out of my tablets!

Never mind, Allan has gone up town to get the prescription for me. Bless him.

See you all later even the ones I have forgotten. xxx

Oh yes.... and my phones are not working today. The landline is, but the Virgin isn't! Oh joy... ;-0(

Happy birthday Caz hope you have a good day.
I have been a bad girl ! I have not been out for days .Yesterday was awful rain and gales but at least I didn't have any tiles fall off like poor Liz.
Liz I hope you manage to get them fixed and there is not too much damage .Let me know when you empty your in box and I will try to send those pics again .
I had a laugh yesterday when my daft cat spent ages fighting with himself .I have had the mirrored doors for years and he has never reacted before .Pity I didn't have a video recorder as it was so funny.
Osteopath told me to walk each day so I will have to force myself out later .
Love to you all

YCaz, Happy birthday to you. (I did put it on another thread somewhere but I know you will see it here. Hope you have a good day. Elaine, enjoy your chill out, Deanna, you did well with the names. Kathy, don't forget to go for a walk sometime today, be a good girl. Ann(GG) glad you enjoyed London, i must make a note of that hotel, it may come in useful sometime. Liz, sorry to hear about the roof tiles, hope it wont be too much of an expense.

I have just come back from having the stitches removed, thanks for all your support and, as you said it was not as traumatic as I expected. Although I did feel a tug as every one of the 14 stitches was removed, nurse said they were extra strong stitches. I have to go without a dressing now, even if i weeps a bit. I have antibiotic cream to put on twice a day for a week, than I have to leave it for a week, then I have to moisturise it with any moisturiser (but I will probably get some bio oil. It is quite sore again but looks very neat. I am not allowed to lift anything heavy or do heavy housework until after I see the consultant on 24th April. So we have to plan our holiday packing so that OH can cope with all the lifting on his own. we go to Tenerife in 3 weeks time for two weeks.
