Dave, I hope you stared back!!! Maybe he was thinking "my, he is looking good, wonder why?" Just ignore him.

YCaz, thank you for your reassurance as well. Did you find it strange when you had the stitches in, that everything you did seemed to make the wound pull. I am surprised at how there must be a muscle in that area that even reacts when I walk or type.

Irene hope your cat came in eventually, I have forgotten where exactly you are.

Gail hope you had a safe journey to MiL and found she is recovering well.

Margaret. I agree, talking is good, another reason why this thread is a success.

Janet, you sound a bit better today, hope it continues for you.

Just bought some little tot plants to bring on for our hanging baskets, spring then summer on their way. (Sorry gail and Irene who are heading for winter!)

Morning all (well it is for me).
Our snowstorm has finally abated.
From Ontario to the east coast we were well and truly "dumped". We got over 50cm by the time the 2 days were finished. There's a mountain of snow beside my van but I can get in the doors so all is well. Now this morning the sun is out, bright and reflecting off the snow.
I made it to work yesterday but nearly came a cropper on the way, speeding (I should know better but was enjoying the clear road!) I came up over a rise in the road and a car was pulling out of a drive with no glance in my direction. I thought the game was up but managed to stop and avoid him. I was still shaking 20 mins later when I got safely to work. I drove VERY cautiously after that!!

By the time you read this, Ann, your stitch(es) will be out. And you survived. Well done!! Hopefully now it can get on with the business of healing.

Gill, please keep on popping in, even to read, we are here for you.

Two of my grandkids are on March break this week, so we slept in, what a delicious feeling.

To those who need a hug, please know that we care.
I must look lively now, or the day will be gone.
Love and hugs to all,
maxiMary

Ann, just popped back on for a few mins and saw your message sorry. Yes it was an awful feeling, even brushing my hair, I tended to put my head down to the brush rather that lift my arm. My breast nurse was rather surprised at how tight they were, maybe that is the reason they felt to be pulling all the time. Don't worry about them coming out, you can't feel them, I only felt a tiny prick when she got the tightest one out, but the feeling of freedom and relief was worth it.
What time are you going tomorrow, then we can be with you in spirit.

Hi all, a quick visit before he gets in from work and I have to get ready for a trip to the docs, only a eound trip of 10 miles but forecast is saying later this afternoon weather will be worse again, gee thanks!
Hope everyone stays safe, Mary, I will slap your wrists, speeding indeed, you take care hon. Glad the snow has stopped and hope things get easier now.
Ann hope the stitch coming out will improve matters for you and the wound will soon heal fully. Don't forget bio oil when there is no open edge.
Gill, well done for coming back on.
Dave, I know how you felt as I get that from a person who lives near my own house, gave me grief and the police took her to court but she got off cos the CP asked the wrong questions, he hadn't read my statement properly. Now she smirks at me when she sees me and I want to smash her in the face with a brick, she arouses such feeling in me, but of course I don't or won't, will not sink to her level, but it makes life very difficult and one reason I think why I am unsure about living at my house again, much as I want the freedom.

To all else, no time to respond but stay on top.
love

Mary, pleased the snow has stopped, I hope it soon melts. Stitches not out yet but will be on the 11th.
Please don't speed, we have just had a terrible accident in Gloucestershire and the driver was speeding. (7 killed))

10.30 is my appointment time Caz, it will be good to know you are thinking of me.

Liz, I will remember the bio oil, thanks.

I am shocked!! I told my DiL that I had thrown out two lots of flowers because they had died (including theirs. We have just answered the door to another huge bouquet from them, to replace the others. These are from interflora and arrived by taxi! beautiful yellow roses and purple freesias. aren't I lucky.

Liz..... is he your partner?

March in anyway..... he is probably just being a man you know... *strong and silent*....
AND, if you do that and he tells you off.... I didn't tell you to do it!!! ;-0)

Dave you will find prats like your ex neighbour in every neighbourhood.
I had one who went around spreading a lie about me, and when I faced her..... She said that *I TOLD HER!*..... It was the first time I had ever had that happen to me, and it shook me ridged (have I spelt that right???)
I know how you feel , they always seem to be able to blame you!
He is just a prat Dave. Ignore him if you can. DO NOT allow him to make you feel inferior. X

Ann..... I have been to the clinic, had my blood tests and it was FREEZING out there.... then we had a slow puncture, then we spent a happy hour at the garage
having it fixed.... and then it took me until 5.00 this evening to get warm...

To all you others I have not mentioned, please forgive me... my tea is ready and if I don't hurry my OH will beat me... again! (joke... he is a very gentle man)

And has Caz been on today?

Keep well all you lovely peeps on here.
