Now now Ann, 64 year old fat ladies do not go in for stunts. No my problem is the damaged nerves in my spine that serve my legs and feet, my brain sends the mesage but legs don't get it, or get it wrong. As nuerologist explained it to me, my brain sends message to walk, my legs get a message to do something but are not sure what. They try to walk but I have no idea where they will end up, hence my saying that I walk like a drunkard, hubby embarrases me when out by saying ' I told you not to have that last drink', urrggh men. other times they don't get any message and I fall.
Yesterday was something different, never happened before, I'm wondering if it's anything to do with chemo.
Liz I'll pm you, it sounds very much like what you said, broken sleep because of pain and if I sleep well I can't move for it when I wake. That's all I want, another illness.
Carolina I'll e-mail you but hubby said I have to have a very busy day watching DVDs and nothing else, better do as he says, I don't want him worrying at work. Same to you as well Jules.
Hi to everyone else, hope you are all ok.
Elaine, I would have it checked out as well, just to be safe, although worrying does that to me everyone is different.

Caz xx

Carole to answer your question about standing outside, I can't, I fall over, I need someone with me at all times when out as there are no chair backs or furnature to hold onto. I can get my wheelchair out of the door but can't move the wheels as we have gravel all over, don't really fancy sitting on step.

Hi Gail,Just read Anns joke and am still laughing, I was sent to physio to learn to walk properly again but they couldn't do anything, it's my balance. I don't drink but every now and then I would love to have one just for the frustration of everything, but as you say it's the tablets.
I got The Best little Whorehouse in Texas out the other day to watch but it's still on top of DVD player, it will be my first one today. I used to love dancing and that film cheers me up, my next one will be Cool Running, don't know how many times I have seen it now but I love it and end up crying with laughter each time.

Morning Caz and Gail,

morning to all my other soul mates who will appear throughout the day.

nice to see you posting and laughing at and about your problems/challenges...I know it is not funny to laugh about aches and pains but you two certainly lighten up the subject for newbies to read, bless you.

Not a lot is happening in my neck of the woods today... shopping being delivered and searching online for net curtains for lounge and kitchen...whoopee!!!!!!!!!!!

Will say bye to you two lovely ladies...

Take care

Morning Joyce, just about to pm you when I saw another message added.Laughter is the only way to cope with all that's been thrown at us, but I must admit it is very hard at times, I've done nothing but cry for the last week, at nothing and everything. I think posting on here after a break has helped me realise again that I am not on my own, but sometimes it feels like it.
I sometimes wonder why I have had all this to cope with when others just have one or two problems, that gets me down.

Morning gang - we all seem to be fairly OK so far!! Carol - stay sitting down and Tena Ladies for Gail.

Gail, with regard to that coughing, try the one that is recommended on so many threads on here - rub Vick on the soles of your fet and put socks on - do this when you go to bed they say, though can't see why it wuldn't work in the day time too. Give it a go. You do have Vick in Oz don't you? Love Ann XX

Gail been there and done that. It is easier to get up yourself isn't it. When I first started falling my hubby tried to get me up, I lost my balance again and fell bringing him down with me, we both laid on floor laughing so much we cried, he lets me get up on my own now.
Morning Ann, I think I need the Tenas after your Friday joke.
