Toby what a lucky fellow you are, I bet daytimes are a barrel of laughs. (*whispers maybe I shouldn't say this but perhaps you'd be better staying in your 6pm to 6am home on friday, nice missus has plans for you!!)

Oh my goodness, I am so excited!!!!! What bargains i got at the plant sale. 4 bushes - 2 Japonica, 1 Weigelia, and 1 Potentilla, plus 14 perennials, most 10" pots, only 2 were 4". The original prices for the lot, would have added up to $276.24 and I paid - are you ready for this - the grand total of $38.42. I got periwinkle, vinca, several hostas, ground covers, coral bells, some other things I never heard of before. Guess what I am doing this afternoon.LOL.
One bed is full of hollyhocks and another of columbine, it's going to be lovely . . I hope.

Ecky thump Elaine, you are leaving us all behind, bet you sleep tonight.
Hi all, not had time to come on today, sister day, then I decided I would try and make tea. I did it as well, I feel so good, roast beef, roast potatos, roast parsnips cabbage and yorkshires. Oooh it's a long time since I cooked and I'm missing it. Hubby dished it out then had to catch me before I collapsed with exhaustion lol, I'm useless aren't I. Lazy day for me tomorrow but I had to tell you what I did. I'm not boasting just so pleased with myself. Going into room now to fall asleep while watching Emmerdale then bed. See you all tomorrow.
Toby, your daytime mistress has only made that appointment on Friday so she won't have to go out for a walk, you tell her pal.

Hallo again. Mary what fantastic bargains, did you get it all planted. Bet it will look lovely come summer.

Elaine and Caz, well done, what a productive day you have both had. I did venture into the garden and sort out a hardy geranium that was a bit rampant, then also sorted out a grass in a tub that needed the dead bits pulled out.
Carolina, little girls can be so sweet can't they?

Hi there

I'm here!!!!! LOL

Saw psychiatrist yesterday and she doesn't know why her locum put me on these new pills that I am taking and gradually pulled apart all the therapy that "Mind" is offering me apart from relaxation classes and Anxiety management.
She wants to know when I finish this "Beat the blues " course that I am doing then she will transfer me either to Lister Hospital Stevenage or Addenbrooks Cambridge for them to look after me.
I am going to my 5th session of "beat the blues" tomorrow in Ware but after the way/attitude of the worker that spoke to me and took my feedback from last weeks session and my psychiatrists opinion I may make this one my last visit.

Feeling a bit set out on my own at the moment but will be ok again when I know I have some proper medical support in the area that I live in now.

Keeping a smile on my face

Hey Malc something seems to be working for you! You do sound a lot more optimistic than you did earlier. What a daft thing though for your therapist to do, by underminding the help you are getting from mind. Be positive and you will get better she should know that!! But hey what do we know? Lovely to see you and hear you are getting some help xxx

Everyone else you know .....I'm getting ready to go to work! Thanks for pm's and catch you later xx

YorkshireCaz Report 23 Apr 2008 10:28

Stay calm Elaine, use your rescue remedy. When you think about it it could be a cancelation appointment they have given your hubby. It can only be for the best anyway to get it seen to quickly, saves you from thinking all sorts. When is his appointment by the way?
A big hug for you to keep you calm.

Morning everyone,

I didn't get to the shop but hey ho maybe next time. I had one diagnosis on a secondary pain site and started treatment straight away so that was good. Going to have a second opinion on the whole operation site and try to get an answer. Weight loss has stabilised at 1st 4lb so hopefully that has settled.

I really admire those cooking, cleaning and gardening how satisfying for you to achieve those things.

Malc you sound better too.

My memory is cr*p, I could say it is due to the meds but I have a sneaking suspicion it's age! So I never remember what you have all done...sorry.

Love to everyone suffering.

Elaine, you ask for as much support as you want to, we will be here for you. Lots of positive thoughts will wing their way from us to your hubby.

Malc, good to see you are keeping a smile on your face and good to see you on here.
Joyce, only a short one from you today, are you OK?

SueM glad your weight loss has stabilised and hope you get sorted soon.

Betty, nice to see you on here. Likewise Caz.

Carole thanks for PM yesterday.

I have my follow up consultant appointment tomorrow at 11am so am stressing a bit about that. Hoping that he will tell me all went well.
Have also made an appointment for a starving blood test. no food for 14 HOURS!! appointment is for 0855 Thursday 1 May. This is to check sugar level in the blood.

It is all go isn't it when you get older??

Had to wash the kitchen floor this morning (unscheduled). took some tomato puree out of the freezer and asked OH to put in fridge. It was only in a plastic bag and I didn't realise he had not put it in a bowl. Result....one sticky floor. He was at golf when I found it when my slippers were sticking to the floor!!
