Sorry been otherwise occupied for a couple of days. Now I am about to run out with 2 of the kids to a huge "garaghe sale" - Megan wants to look for books, as if her shelves weren't full enough!!
Sarah and Gareth look much cleaner this morning, having both discovered the joys of water and soil mixed together, both were head to toe mud last evening. It was funny and their Mummy took photos but then - suggested that this isn't how she expects her mother to care for her children!!!! LOL. They were having a sensory experience says me, it's good for them!!
I've planted hollyhock seeds last evening, all along the side of the neighbours garage. None of the flower beds here have apparently been touched in 5 years, so I am re-claiming them,inch by inch.
Looks tidier already - in spots.
Colleen has 2 exams left to write, will be finished on Thursday evening, then she'll be able to get outside and help me. She is much stronger physically then I am , so will be a huge help. We are a month earlier than usual working in the garden, still haven't got veggies in, but it will come. Tomato seeds are slow coming, hopefully they aren't too old!!
Sarah was asking for "spoon" this morning - gave her a spoon, then she started up again. Finally I had the bright idea to say "show me spoon", and lo and behold, spoons are yogourt!!!!! I need an interpreter . . . . Gareth is now discharged from his autism thereapy, even the therapists were crying when he left, they seem to realise it's too soon, and they are all very fond of him, so now it's all on us -and the mainstream school. We are talking non-stop with him, encouraging language. he is making some sentences, but as someone who has always been very fussy about spelling and grammar with my children and now grand's, I don't care if he has a verb or not, if he is communicating, that is success.

Have to run, catch you all later, happy belated b'days to those I've missed. Mine isn't till November, the big 65 - where has the time gone?
Hugs
Mary

Right read them all through, can't hope to comment on all the posts. YCaz, get over that cold soon.
Lucia, how lovely to 'see' you on here. I am sure that Uni is very stressful without the added stress of not being able to afford to eat. Difficult to know what to suggest. I have only been to st Andrews once but thought then what a lovely place to study. But you need to feed the body as well as the mind. Can't you get a food parcel sent from home?

Joyce, your posts made me laugh, I see you have not lost your touch!

Elaine, just a thought, could your problem be food related in any way? trying to find a cause for being hyper one day and down the next. Has the doctor said what the cause could be?

Carole, still remembering everyone i see.
Gill, are you OK today?

Everyone, sorry not to do more personal mentions, brain dead today.

Deanna, I shall be watching closely for the 2999th post!!

~~~~~~~ gill. Is it just because they are new tablets Gill and your body is not used to the medication as yet? Hope you settle down with them soon and that they work for you. I do feel a lot better although the scar is still tender (over 8 weeks now.) I have to see the consultant next Thursday which will be a relief as only he can tell me that it is all going to plan.
Eileen, thanks for the welcome back. i hope all the results are OK. your visit to hospital sounded spooky!!
Good morning girls, I'm back, well my body is, not sure about my head. Spent the last two days in bed and only put puter on to send a couple of pms so I have a lot of catching up to do. Might stay up today and read all the posts, but as I said to my friend last nigh I feel all wibbly wobbly and wooly headed. I had a sore throat and lost my voice completely.
Nice to see you back Ann, I missed you, Mary my brothers birthday is 20th November as well.
Gill hope your new tablets settle down soon.
Deanna I think Joyce deserves the 3000th posting for all the laughs she has given us in the past.
Hi Caz, good to see you on here again, nice to know I was missed!. Hope you soon feel better, sounds as if your cold was more like flu, probably because your immune system couldn't cope because of the chemo. Just take it easy. yes Joyce probably deserves the 3000th post but we have to keep her on her toes!!
Hi Shaz have you sorted your niece's birthday. strange how some family members are close and some not isn't it? Must be the way they are brought up. maybe your BiL's family are not close.
