hi betty i found out my 4th great grand uncle was deported to Australia as a convict sentenced for stealing 7 pence and 2 handkerchiefs and a charge of assault. He left England on the "Lord Auckland"
and my 2nd cousins 3 times removed was Killed in action on board HMS Glorious

What a day!! Picked up new glasses for mum and myself, then a quick bite to eat. Took mum to see dad and he didn't look too well. Has a chest infection, and temperature. Had a talk with ward sister and physio about him, and plans to get him home when he is better. Then tea at mine and shopping with mum, who only wanted milk but spent £30.00 ! I on the other hand come home £90.00 lighter after shopping for a few bits! and petrol.

Hope Deanna and Kathy had a lovely day. Who is next for a birthday?

I'm off to bed before my head splits open with pain and stress! xxx

No sign of baby, poor niece & nephew. She keeps starting labour, last 3 days then stops. Gets to 15 minutes then nothing. She is back home again and waiting. I was not brackstone hicks.

They live country as well so hope she makes it to hospital okay.

My other niece had her baby on the side of the road 40 klms before hospital. It was the middle of the night and ambulance was called to where they were, but had bub on a blanket on the ground before they got there. Bub was not well so was great ambos got there when they did. Great story for the grandkids later.

Will let you know about other niece when she starts again.

Sorry I missed your birthday yesterday Deana and kathy. Hope you both had a nice day. Didnt look in yesterday felt a bit tired and achey. Hope everyone is allright. Gail I remember both my kids being quick I can remember getting to hospital phoning out side having a pain on car park I thought the baby might come then. When I got in the hosptial I said to the nurse I need the loo, she said ok but give us a shout if you see a head. when I came out the loo she said I think Its time for you to start pushing before long baby was born. lucky she wasnt a toilet baby. Hey Deana I just thought I must have a thing about toilets. joyce are you still doing your walks. Mary how are the tomato plants doing. I hope sue is ok too. Morning everyone...
Just want to wish you all a good and happy weekend and Carole its my Birthday tomorrow buy sshh want to keep it quiet as i dont want to get older..All the best babies were born in April...Am getting breakfast in bed tomorrow then going out for lunch and back home for choccy cake with mum and the kids so am looking forward to it..My 4 yr old is very excited for me, she loves birthdays and its lovely.Another yr nearer to the big 40 is not a nice thought thou..Today we are going to a caravan and camping expedition ( Do i hear you yawning), we are thinking of buying a touring caravan as i think with the 5 kids its the cheapest option for holidays in the long term, to go away..We both enjoy caravan holidays buy they are sooo expensive for a large family..Anyone that has a caravan it woulds be good to hear from you, maybe to get some tips and advice..Anyway enough from me for now, will let you all know if he buys me a caravan for my Bday..(Who am i kidding)...Have to save for a yr..lol...

No hi-de-hi this morning, more like a ho-downer folks...it turned out that my hike home from the chemist on Thursday was 'a walk too far'... so yesterdays
'walkies' turned into a fiasco with Toby complaining verbally that he had not met his full tree and lampost quota, tut tut..we did make another attempt during the afternoon which satisfied his male ego so all was not lost, except for my shaky legs which were complaining... I must be the most unfitest (sp) person around and even the most zaniest for holding such a conversation about talking dogs...that's it.. you can have me locked away now and wouldn't really mind because I hear the comfort in prison these day's is excellent..good food, drugs, TV and no dogs. lol.

Before I start my personal postings I will apologise to Deanna in advance for length of this posting and the possibility of my talking too much, don't wish to upped you on those stakes now do I. lol.xx

It has passed through my mind that recent postings on bums, runs, falling knickers, snapping elastic, pipes, tubes, bags, wet wipes and spare emergency underwear JUST might put off potential newbies to this thread, like they might 'run' a mile on reading of same..lol.
interesting and funny though are the predicaments we get ourselves into at the most inappropriate places and the timing x Am sure any newbies will have similar tales to tell...

Eileen C, No woes are too trivial lass, they are individual to the person who is experiencing them, we each manage or try to cope different ways, mine is by playing the clown and hopefully bringing a little light relief to our thread, keep posting please xxxx

Shaz, you yourself are helping someone else to cope by doing the work that you do, you help people on a low income to clothe themselves and their children which can only be good news. xx

Liz, If you had asked I would have sorted out your paperwork for you, like feeding it into a large shredder and shredding 'him' through it at the same time, keep up the good work xxxx

Kathy, Reckon your son is more than happy to be at home with his Mom..is something or someone upsetting him at uni?..Is it Herriot Watt he goes to, cannot remember now?. has he any jobs lined up for vacation times.. most large companies employ students but one has to apply early for these vacancies.. the company I worked for employed over 20 students each summer, who were only too glad to get practical training and money to boot.. exempt from paying income tax also. xxxxx

Y Caz, hi again lass xx..Caz sent me another pm this morning to say she may spend another day resting.. on top of her known problems she appears to have caught a cold which is also affecting her throat and voice...just you rest up lass..I will do your talking for you..lol....

No 'walkies' today with Toby, he is having a break and staying with his mistress who allows him more freedom, like walks through the forest and attempting to enter rabbit warrens. t'is a dog's life right enough..

Right folks, that's all my news so far, am due a delivery from Tesco's pretty soon so must get dressed.... can't be seen floating around in my paper knickers and thermals.. might scare the life out of delivery man and neighbours alike.lol.

I hope you are coping today.

Last night was terrible but this morning I have to grasp the nettle and deal with my demons. I have decided that the old adage of today is the first day of the rest of your life must mean something!

I have decided to deal with them one at a time and have sort of prioritised them in my head.

If I can face them and kill them off one by one perhaps there is some hope that I can reach normality again. Don't know when...lol

I have to start with self loathing I think, this is the main problem for me with bad decisions I have made constantly coming back to haunt me.

I don't know what else to say. I have to do something because I cannot go on like this, I hope some of you understand what I mean even though I am being vague.

sue sounds like a plan girl you go for it ! one thing at a time. My biggest problem is I try and please everyone than i feel like ive failed if I can't do it.... I push what i want to the back of the list .hell forgotten what it was i wanted from life. went to see a healer went with an open mind doctor's werent doing much for me .this is what he told me. I ve to GET OVER MYSELF i have a massive EGO who did i think i was with my look at me, Iam a good girl ILL do anything for you I can do it all.! at first i looked at him stupid then he exlained himself and he was right I'd been programed from a young age to be a good girl. don't fight, do as iam told and the only time people took notice of me was when i did things for them. he just didn't pussy foot around hit me with both barrels Had a good cry and have been moving forward eversince shore i slide back sometime but that's life keep your chin up hugs from Irene

Sue, the self loathing is the worst, isn't it.
If you can beat that, the rest is a *doddle*...

I did it (pretty much) I hated me, I hated my weight, then I got to the point where I thought.... I am a good woman.
Fat or thin I'm the same woman, so I gradually stopped worrying about it.
THEN... I was diagnosed and given a large dose of Steroids which blew me up like a balloon.
NOW I have the problem of trying to lose it, without being able to exercise. And to be honest, I've lost interest in the idea.
Ah well, I'm not worried , so why should others.

Thanks Sharon & Carolina for the birthday wishes, I had a great day... even stayed up until 10.00 to watch "have I got news for you" with Allan.

Carolina that is lovely that you were able to find that out about your family... How did you manage it?
I hate reading about the dreadful punishment meted out to those poor people... steal a bread roll, and they could be hung FGS.

JoyceP.... Allan is okay on this new pill the doctor gave him yesterday... so fingers crossed. He is of course no right yet. Tony did a wee bit of shopping for us this morning... just needed a wee crusty loaf for our soup. AND... no yah can't.... there's none left!! ;-P
Plus..... You talk WAY more than me... and I have a reputation for it!

Carole T, you do have a tough time don't you looking after your parents. Just makes me feel guilty about my boy, he is always running about after us, and he is ill himself. Bless him...I always thought of him as a gift from God, and he is.

Hi all I am back, had a great time, still a wee bit sore but really feel myself again and a lot better for the sunshine.

Bet you are pleased to be back in harness again, like h--------k,washing, etc. and not forgetting the postings you have to catch up on..I even broke the 5000 word character record much to the disgust of some I know...'they' say I talk too much, meeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, never lol.
