Hi gang, sorry I have not been on for a while, I have been reading and keeping up with you all though. I don't want you to think Iv'e stopped caring but at the moment I am finding it very difficult to type, it seems every bone and muscle in my body is screeching in pain. I really am at rock bottom now and don't know how to climb back up. I can't even make a cup of tea to console myself as doctor told me to cut down to three a day as my kidneys are not working so well with the chemo. Can't hold the cup properly anyway.
I didn't mean to say all this but hey, tell it as it is. To those who I pm regularly I will get back to you as soon as I am able.
Might have a giggle on Tuesday, seeing chiropodist and I can't wait to see her face when she sees my blistered peeling feet lol. She always says how soft and good condition they are, she's in for a shock lol.

Love to all

Caz xx

Hi Mary, Hi Caz, sorry got to go to bed, I am tired, been a long muddly day.
Getting light here now, nice coloured sky out there behind the tree line across the field.
Caz, how about fruit teas, they are nice and might be ok for your kidneys, Mary might know more about that.

Mary, hon, hope you and yours are ok. Haven't done much this week, been muddly and non productive, but tomorrow is another day, well it will be after I have slept but it will be today lol
love and hugs to all

Caz, I usually have to have my cuppas through a straw, or it goes everywhere, I spill it or dribble. Don't do it as much at home anymore with straw, but do when I go out so nice clothes are not ruined. Could you try it with a straw. I usually get the ones that bend.

Liz, know the muddy feeling, try not to get too down hun.

Time to go feed the chickens, at least it gets me outside at least once a day.

Hugs to all

Justice of Peace Report 3 Apr 2008 06:53

Here we go again, happy as can be, good old pals and jolly good company.

Or even ..Oh happy days......

Have decided that life can be a sh-t though and need to sing my way out of my thought patterns right now.

I went to see my consultant at hospital yesterday morning...was fully prepared for his final verdict of 'no go operation' which he had previously predicted...am now thrown back into turmoil because after my last three in depth tests he reckons I just might survive surgery..and is prepared to operate ..EXCEPT.. the anesthestist has qualms about putting me to sleep..that part is okay, but t'is the waking me up bit he is concerned about.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! am now awaiting an appointment to see him now. Talk about swings and roundabouts, all I can say is 'stop the world, I want to jump off'...

At the end of the day what it all boils down to is, I could die if I have the operation and will certainly die if I don't.

On that cheerful note I will return to my daily living routine and bore you all with my mundane nattering..xxxx.

I have one hell of a lot of catching up to do what with recent postings and new members coming on board, have missed out on quite a lot...
for now I would like to say hi to our Y Caz
who certainly needs lots of hugs from us all.. not a lot I can do for you lass except phone you, make you laugh and make your muscles hurt even more..lol.
Deanna might just even bring along a couple of those towels she mentioned, she can wipe away your tears of laughter. xx

Right, am away to get my notepad and note down events which I have missed replying to....will bounce back to you all after showering, breakfast etc, that's if I don't fall back to sleep again!!!!

For now, love to all..

Hi,
Hope no one minds me coming on to this thread and asking for advice. I'm not depressed, but my friend is, and I'm wanting advice on how to help her. She was widowed 3 months ago, and since has had lots of health problems, including depression. She is having a hard time coming to terms with her husband's death.

Maybe someone who has experienced the loss of a loved one and depression and recovered, and able to talk about it to me?
Don't want to upset anyone though.
I don't want to talk about it online, and am hoping someone will pm me about it, so I can tell you more.
Thanks,
Jan

no one will; mind at all you coming on this thread - everyone welcome - I suffer from clinical depression and have done for many years - my lovely OH died about five and a half years ago and it was really hard at the time but I think my medication must have kept me going and also the help of a very dear friend. Please pm me if there's anything I can do to help

Hey Deanna, I wasn't causing havoc, I was thinking of the irony of the situation . . . .I saw more flashing lights yesterday - now don't yell at me - they were in my rear-view mirror on my way to work.  he accused me (can you hear the righteous indignation??) of going 90km/hr in a 60km/hr zone!!!To make the situation worse I heard myself say, 'I thought the limit was 80km/hr through there'!!!. (Still didn't explain why I was doing 90, happily munching on potato crisps and singing along to the radio)Anyway he charged me only 10km over the limit, a $50 fine.Mary

Told yah..... havoc!! ;-0)

I remember the time my son had a speed ticket.

He was on a road which he thought was a 50mph.... but was actually 40....
he was just out of hospital.... cost him £30.... or was it £60(?) and 3points on his licence.
The dreadful thing for him was.... that he is SUCH A STICKLER for obeying the miles rules... he is all, Speed kills, you shouldn't complain just because you got caught!!
And he really really means it too.
Poor lad.
Did you enjoy your crisps though??? ;-0)

I think I need a new Video Recorder.....
Mine seems to have stopped programming!
Ah well.... now I'm off to bed, yawning like an idiot!

Good night everyone, have a good nights sleep and I'll see you all in the morning.

Then hospital. Dad wasn't too good. Because he is on warfrin his arm is bruised and started to bleed. More bandages on him everytime we go! Mum is upset. Brought mum back to mine for tea then shopping for food, took her home then home myself.

Thanks for the pm when I needed it, you know who you are . . . . my daughter has had to make a diifficult decision today, which may jeopardise her next year's education, but I am certain she is meant to be taking her degree, so have to trust that somehow it will all come together as it should - hard to maintain that trust when one is feeling frantic. I spent the whole day worrying, then finally forced myself outside, a sunny day, no jacket, just a pullover needed to stay warm - swept off the front porch, then started on the front garden and cleared out 2 flower beds, anxious to see what comes up,as it's my first spring here.  Took my grandson for a LONG walk after supper, feeling joints I'd forgotten were there!! I am heading to bed early for once, had an emotionally draining day, increased my Celexa to help me over the next few days. Give yourselves a hug.mary

Hello Everyone,

I do believe I suffer from anxiety problems. It's something I've gone to see the doctor about very recently which helped a little.

I haven't been on site for a long time - not sure if anyone remembers me. I hope you're all well. (((())))
