Anyone had one of these letters through the post saying they have been randomly selected to take part?

It is very confusingly worded - apparently someone calls at your house to get the answers from you - but it says on one bit that it is not compulsory to take part, yet in about three other places it says it hopes we will take part and that is important for everyone asked to respond to get an accurate picture etc.

Just thinking, it may be unsettling for older people to have someone knocking on their door saying they are collecting the survey responses - it might frighten them or they might think it is a burglar using an excuse to get in.
