I see by Ann's thread that another young man has been taken by this silent killer. Another life gone -another life just snatched from this world. I know how his parents are feeling right now, they are feeling cheated, exteremely raw, sad, devesatated and worried for their other children. Unfortunately they will feel like that for the rest of their life if I am anything to go by. So many of you are already helping me to make people aware of this silent killer-I wish I could shout it from the highest mountain and get everybody to help prevent these young people being taken from us.
I know nothing can be done to help Jack or my Stephen, nothing can be done for the 416 taken each year, but we can stop another 416 being taken next year if we lobby our MP's, pester the media, make everybody sit up and take note of how our children are dying through lack of funds. A simple test can save them. CRY/SADS are doing a fantastic job fundraising, and the people who fundraise are usually the friends and family of those lost to this silent killer.
I beg of you, even if it is just passing on information regarding this, please help. I never thought one of my children would be taken from me in such a way, in fact none of us ever expect to bury our children. I still cannot sleep, I hate socialising, I just want to be here in front of my computer trying to educate you all. I am not looking for sympathy-I am looking for help. Either by signing my petition, writing to your newspaper or MP, donating to CRY/SADS or just pass this on to others so that they can be aware of the dangers.
Thank you XX.
