Today i was with my mum collecting certificates for her family tree. When i had the pleasure of meeting a young girl, who started to ask me about looking for someone and if it was difficult. She told me she was getting her birth certificate as she had a feeling she was adopted. Then the records lady called her to one side and had the unfortunate task of telling her she was adopted and that she would have to apply for her adoption certificate. But it's not as complicated as you think. Her mother married when she was a baby and her husband adopted her. She's not bothered if she never finds her biological father. She just wants to know where she comes from.
