The East Galway Animal Rescue are on one of the dog forums I frequent, appealing for help in finding a new home. They are contacting papers/radio aswell:

We have received devastating news on the 19th of September. The owner of the property we ran EGAR from has fallen ill and must sell the house and grounds in order for him to raise enough funds to return home to Germany and for his treatment.

Which means we have to find a new place for EGAR by January 2008 or all the dogs/animals here are in peril. There is no way we can pay the app. 160.000 Euro the house and grounds are worth so we must find new accomodations.

We are looking for a cottage/house with about 2 acres of land and outbuilding we can convert to kennels and runs. We are not fussy about the house as long as it has running water, electricity and a landline. We cannot buy only rent and the rent must be fairly low in order for us to be able to keep operating. EGAR is Ireland's only Bull Breed Rescue, without EGAR the Bullies will have no place to go to. If you are in the position to help us, please phone Sarah on 086-1545454. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
