I am trying to find out my grandfathers identity. Maud lived in Birmingham, was born in the 20's and had several siblings. She had three children outside wedlock. George, Edward and Albert in the 40's. Have you heard any stories about your grandfather /father /great grandfather/ brother or uncle that may match with this info? There are stories of a "well to do gentleman" calling with sweets for the children and maybe a gipsy connection. Please help if you have any information.
