well the first thing you need to do is get that certificate, that will tell you who her parents were, when you know their names and her fathers occupation you should be able to find them on the 1901 census. If you know the west derby birth is deffinatly her then go straight for the birth cert. If you are not sure, then order her marriage. That will give you her fathers name, along with her husbands father. You can use that info to make sure you get the right birth cert there are 2 mary maher's born liverpool c1894, either or neither of them could be yours. Unfortuantly both have fathers named thomas.
