I don't know how I would have coped if I had to stay in Tewkesbury n live thro the nightmare....I'm glad I was at work when the floods came up, n so quick they did too. Lil one school'd in Pershore n usually if I'm not working I would have taken her then came back to Tewkesbury but as I was working that day I was already in Pershore, if not I wouldn't have been able to get back to her for a few days......that would have broken my heart. There are still people staying at the community centre over the road....my mum still can't live in her house, she lives in a bungalow in the Cotswolds.....the worse is over now but so much still to do. |
