Stuart - Can you tell me when you delete and upload a new GEDCOM file what happens with your contacts and any links you have made? Also if you have allowed other people to see your tree can they still see the new tree once you have uploaded it? Thanks Sarah

Lynne - No you can't have anyone in your tree prior to uploading a Gedcom so I deleted the old information first. Brian - That is exactly how that is caused, it seems unavoidable. The only way to upload an updated gedcom is to delete the old tree first and when you add the new gedcom it all appears as 'new' again. Now as much as it might irritate some I'd rather have the most recent information on the site.
