Stephen - why, when the original message is at the top of the page do we have to scroll down to get the first reply, while the last message posted in the thread is underneath the original message. Surely it would be easier for us to read if the first reply was underneath the original 2nd reply underneath that etc? If the thread is a long one it means going back pages to get to the begining of it! Hope you can take this on board as I think it will make things a lot easier. Christine, Billingham, Cleveland

I prefer the present system with the original message at the top but then the newest message first. Putting all the messages in chronological order will get very unwieldy if there is a long thread. The list of message subjects is sorted by the date of the original message. Why not sort by the most recent posting. So if a reply is posted to an old message then it will come back up to the top of the list. Otherwise probably no one will notice that there has been a recent addition to that message. Martin Briscoe
