I thought I was the only one thinking "what are they talking about, is this just a type of chat line". But it does take the stress out of not having any luck on the site. Especially as you think eureka (its spelt something like that) I have at last found a link, you email them and they dont reply. So come on lets have the DROSS it can be amusing and it may stop you putting a hammer through the screen. Jim Mckinney Sussex

This is just too good an opportunity to miss so.. Dare I say it??? "I told you ..etc etc etc". Thanks mates for the support, but will they ever learn. I have got to the point that I no longer run to the site when hubby goes off to work to get me morning 'fix'. I even spent 4 hours at the PRO on Monday, doing what I should have been doing in the first place - research. Now let's get back to the matter in hand. I am trying to find... - joke, honest! Brian,Rosi,Margaret,Lynne I thought it was just me - I cant make head nor tail of some of the stuff being posted but I know one thing it doesn't seem to have much to do with genealogy. Beryl, Darlington DUR

Initially I found it mildly amusing- then thought it must be an 'age' thing - just tried to let it pass me by - then it got silly - now - yep - it's beyond a joke! More power to your elbows - Brian , and Vera, who posted a similar but same message message a short while back. Rosi. Colchester ESS

Agreed Brian and Lynne It has got to the point where there is very little genealogy going on at all. New people to the site must think the whole thing is a big joke and wouldn't waste their £5 on joining. Margaret

I agree Brian that this type of chat is for the Member's Board. Lynne

The title on this Board says "This board is for you to add suggestions and comments about GenesConnected." Is anyone else losing patience with the number of threads totally unconnected with that principle. It's got to the point where sorting the wheat from the chaff hardly makes it worth checking.
