No rush June. Just the usual curiosity. I got the work wrong for Henry Jarvis: that was his son. We're looking for any memories of my partners grandparents. His grandfather (THAT Henry!) was a labourer I think. Since the Jarvis's have been in Fleetwood a long time, it's just on the off chance some one else's grandparents remeber them or knew them. There's possibly some still living, you never know. Cheers. Cath Nr. Preston

Cath, I hadn't forgotten about your message, but the friend (who lives in Fleetwood) doesn't come back from Chicago until Friday. June, Preston.Lan.

Hi June Thanks. I only know of one cemetary in Fleetwood. I'm looking on behalf of my other half: it's his anscestors we're after so knew the plot, but because it's in the "old part" no longer exists. Only some do now and that one doesn't. Perhaps this is what you mean by two? An old and a "new" plot? As far as I know there isn't a registrar in Fleetwood now. Not sure where all the records will have gone. Blackpool or Preston. We'll get round to it one day! Thanks for getting back. Was just wondering if anyone from Fleetwood was reading this and actually remembered them. I think Henry worked on the trawlers and was in the Merchant Navy. Cheers. Cath, Nr. Preston

Hi Cath, I think there are one or two cemeteries in Fleetwood, I have just rung my friend in Fleetwood but she's out. If she rings back with any info I'll let you know. How about ringing the Fleetwood Registrar to see what information they can give? June, Preston.Lan.

I know this is a trying to find, but they did die a long time ago! So I'm not sure where to post this..advise please if it's in the wrong place. Any information on a Henry Jarvis died 1930 and his wife Charlotte (nee Bishop?) died 1923. Both buried in Fleetwood, Lancashire but the plot no longer exists (been and looked.) Anybody with any information please let me know. Thanks. Cath Preston, Lancs
