changing dollars to pounds

Hello all those "Down Under", Didn't know friendsreunited and genesconnected could be a member-will inform my Aussie rels. Early days of friends etc they couldn't join up. Thanks for the info Colette |

Doris, this is Colin in Jarrahdale, Western Australia. I sent Genes Reconnected and Friends Reunited cheques which simply stated the fees in "pounds sterling". Some weeks later, I noticed these amounts appearing on my bank statement in equivalent Australian dollars. In both cases the cheques were written using my normal cheque book. No problem whatsoever. I think one went through as $12 and the other as about $14. |
