I sent an email to a member. I looked up "My Contacts" and it says HE sent ME the email. WHY IS THIS?. When I go to "Members Board" I have to go back a number of pages to where I had left off. That's OK. But I have to go to the bottom and read up. Then when I press "Back" to return to the next page I then have to scroll to the bottom and read up!!! WHY IS THIS? The same on a Thread. If I ask for "Latest Reply First" especially where there are a lot of replies. When I press "Back" I am presented with "Earliest reply first" WHY IS THIS? Many people are complaining about the GREEN causing headaches etc yet nothing has been done. WHY IS THIS? Jim Gosport, HAM.

now, I don't really know much about this stuff, but are you assuming that the programme owners (whatever) read these messages? or do you send your comments to "contact us" ? the statement says they don't monitor contributions before they appear, I would suggest that they don't monitor them at all. Unless perhaps someone makes a point of complaining, directly. Well, it's just a thought.

The heading for this board says it is for us to make comments & suggestions. I can email GC dirct, yes BUT Why should GC just listen to me. I understand that, especially as we now have threads, this board is a place to put up suggestions on how the site can be improved. And then all members have the opportunity to comment, for or against. Should sufficient members agree, then we CAN expect GC to respond. There have been a number of complaints about the green, for example, but we have no information to tell us that GC are even listening, let alone responding. It may be that I am the only one who sees a benefit from certain changes. If so that's OK. But surely someone has to be the first to make a suggestion so that all may consider it? Jim

okay, so, if we just take the green board issue, which has people chundering and the like, what would you like to do? or what would you like others, myself for instance, to do? should, perhaps, I or another (no, I'm not a lawyer!!) send a contact suggesting they review the board, and and the negative comments made re the colour?

James, I have sent an email to 'Contact us support@ to ask them if anyone reviews the Guest book, and to draw their attention to the fact that people don't like the colour. Ann Glos

Thanks Ann & Jacqi, There really are two issues here, 1) Wrong things on the Board. many of the things here ought to be on the Tips Board, and others, some of mine included, are not relevant. 2) Genes Connected should be monitoring this board on a regular basis, yet Stephen rarely makes a comment so we don't know if they are. James, I have had an email from Steve, he says he does read the board but didn't bother with this message because he thought it was a jokey one like the 'knock knock' ones. He is goinfg to see if he can tone down the colour. Ann
